Keitaro Miura (2188) (三浦 慶太郎 Miura Keitarō) is a 2188 Colonist in 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

Story

Before the Nanomachine Infection

Keitaro Miura was a design engineer working under Shikishima Industries for Interstellar Development. He was tasked with creating the sectors for the 2188 Colony. During the creation of the sectors, Miura entered into a relationship with Natsuno Minami, despite the disapproval of Natsuno's mother, Yuki Takamiya. When the nanomachine disaster struck, Miura helped escort Natsuno Minami and Yuki Takamiya into the now completed 2188 colony.

On the Colony
After escaping the nanomachine incident and boarding the 2188 colony, it can be assumed that Miura donated his DNA for Project Ark. With humanity on the verge of extinction and the space colony's sectors being completed, Miura's new task was creating the virtual sectors for Project Ark. Since the colonists could not decide what time period to set Project Ark's simulation in, Miura used his skill as a history buff to create 5 sectors from different time periods. Sometime during this, Miura recreated Tamao Kurabe's family home from her memories and photographs. As Miura's duty neared its completion, he asked Chihiro Morimura why he should not create a sector for the present 2188. She responded by saying that Project Ark should start over humanity's history, before it took such a terrible turn with nanotechnology. With his question answered, Miura remained elated that his clone will get to live in the Pacific Wars Miura fantasized so much about. He then logged off the call with Morimura to finish his work.

Death
While it is currently unknown how 2188 Keitaro Miura died, it can be inferred that he died before both 2188 Ryoko Shinonome and 2188 Tetsuya Ida.

Etymology

• The name Keitaro means "congratulate" (慶) (kei), "thick, big" (太) (ta) and "son" (郎) (ro).
• Keitaro's surname Miura means "three" (三) (mi) and "bay, inlet, creek" (浦) (ura).
