Tsukasa Okino (沖野 司 Okino Tsukasa) was a 2188 Colonist in 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.

Story
Before the Nanomachine Infection
According to an interview with 13 Sentinels Director George Kamitani, Okino was born as a result of selective breeding during the 22nd century. Men and women were required to donate their sperm and egg cells, meaning that they would often not see their biological children and vice versa. In Okino's case, he was born from the reproductive cells of Chihiro Morimura and an unnamed man, making Chihiro Morimura his biological mother. Shortly after being born, Okino was put in an educational training/working facility like all the other children at the time. The harsh conditions and expectations of this facility are what caused him to dislike work.[2]
It is unknown when their relationship began, but Okino may have met and dated Takatoshi Hijiyama before the nanomachine infection.
On the Colony
After escaping the nanomachine infection, Okino boarded the 2188 colony. He donated his DNA to Project Ark, and while Chihiro Morimura and Yuki Takamiya were analyzing it, they discover that he is Morimura's child. However, Morimura decides not to tell Okino, because she believed there was nothing she could say to reconcile.
Okino himself continued to work on Project Ark as the lead programmer of Universal Control. Although he was quite skilled at programming, he also had the tendency to make lazy decisions, such as when he decided to speed along Project Ark by using some of Mighty Kaiju Deimos' (a hit simulation game from 2154) environment management code. When Ryoko Shinonome discovered the recycled code and told Takatoshi Hijiyama about it, Hijiyama calls Okino and confronts him with concerns about the Deimos game. Okino assuages Hijiyama's fears by explaining that kaiju wouldn't appear in Project Ark's simulation, because the code that spawned kaiju was deactivated. Okino then reassures Hijiyama that he wants to spend the rest of his time with him, and logs off their call.
Power Dispute
After Ei Sekigahara blew up the power generator to assassinate Morimura, there was a dispute on what the colonists should use the remaining energy for. While Okino and Hijiyama were for using energy to keep life support operational, Juro Izumi and Nenji Ogata wanted to devote the remaining energy to Project Ark. Eventually, the debate grew so heated that Izumi shot Okino, killing him. Seeking vengeance for the death of his lover, Hijiyama then killed Izumi and Ogata in the ensuing shootout.

Etymology
- The name Tsukasa means "officer, boss" (司).
