A colony under construction, up in a satellite orbiting Earth in 2187.
Once completed, it had a diameter of 30 km and was docked with multiple giant, cylindrical food production silos.
This is where Project Ark began for the sake of continuing the human species, but is also the source of the nanomachine infection that wiped out humanity. In 2188, Ei Sekigahara infiltrated Sector 4 and set off a bomb on its power generator in order to assassinate Morimura.[1]
A dispute over whether to allocate the remaining energy towards Project Ark or life support led to a shootout.[2]

Juro Izumi (2188) shot Tsukasa Okino (2188), which led to Takatoshi Hijiyama (2188) killing at least Nenji Ogata and Juro Izumi. Tetsuya Ida (2188) and Ryoko Shinonome (2188) were confirmed to have survived by Hijiyama, but any others killed in the altercation (if any) are unknown.
