The process of modifying a planet's environment into a habitable state for humanity. Once a planet with similar qualities to the Earth is found, its atmospheric component and air temperature are adjusted. Doing so requires an extraordinary amount of time, effort, and technology.
The planet the boys and girls are on isn't Earth, but rather one that the D-forces developed through the terraforming process.
